Southern California weddings I swear have the perfect light. When I learned I would be traveling to San Diego for the sweetest couple in the universe to photographer their wedding day I was so completely honored and humbled. Traveling for destination weddings can be hard and stressful but when you are lucky enough to get wedding clients like mine it is all worth it. I am a wedding and styling details freak, so I of course had to travel with my styling kit. I am SO glad I did. Before I left i made this purple flat lay styling mat because upon talking to my clients I knew there would be a lot of purple elements in their details. Couple invest so much time, heart, energy and money into making their day a reflection of who they are and what they love so it's important to document those things.
Ella and Roccos AMAZING wedding invitation suite was just fabulous. They took the time to prepare it in her native language and english for all her family and guests. All her girls had a custom made flower pin for their hair which is now an heirloom for them to have as a keepsake. So much love and attention to detail went into the designing and planning of their union.
Even though we got a little rain on Ella and Rocco gorgeous San Diego wedding, the day actually turned out to be quite beautiful with sun and clouds painting the sky for their ceremony and creating a gorgeous backdrop for a lot of their photos with friends and family standing lakeside.
