I  LOVE all things wedding. I love styling weddings, photographing weddings, attending weddings, and of course wedding cake. But in all seriousness I have been photographing weddings for about 8 years now and have to say have found my calling. I shoot about 25 wedding per year and photography is my full time gig and is my heart and soul. I am what is called a hybrid shooter which means I shoot film and digital formats on your wedding day. I love the look and feel that film provides and that is just offers a timeless quality that I just adore. Here are some other things your probably wanting to know about me as well, but please reach out to me if you have additional questions.... thanks for stopping by!

1. Do you photograph weddings?

Yes, I have been photographing weddings since 2007 and absolutely LOVE them.

2. Do you offer high resolution digital images?

Yes, all of my packages include your high resolution final edited jpg files.

3. Do you photograph high school seniors?

I have two packages available for highschool senior portraits, please click on "prices" or the "seniors" gallery tab on the home page to view my portfolio of photo sessions

4. What kind of equipment do you use?

I use a Canon 5D MKIII & the same camera for back up. I use only L series high grade lenses. For film I shoot with a Contax 645 and Canon EOS 1v

5. Do you have a studio?

No, due to covid I had closed my photography studio and have yet to re-open in a new location

6. What type of photographer are you?

I specialize in photographing weddings, engagements, boudoirs, and commercial photography as well as highschool senior and I would consider myself a storybook style photographer with a fine art romantic flare.

7. How do you price your photography sessions?

Most of my sessions are all priced a little bit differently. I factor in several things when I am trying to determine the best price for each specific type of session. For example: how long is the shoot going to naturally take to get quality photographs, how often are the images going to be printed or reproduced, how much time is it going to take me to edit this type of photoshoot, and what comes with the specific photoshoot such as professional hair and makeup or products.

8. How long have you been a professional photographer?

I have been in the business for almost 17 years and this is my career

9. What is your favorite type of photoshoot?

I am torn, because I generally love them all but if I had to I would say weddings,  and all things wedding related.

10. What dont you like?

I do not like photographing on hot sunny days when the sun is highest in the sky. It makes for high contrast photos and unflattering light. Plus it is HOT so no one is happy. Sunrise or sunset are the best times of day to photograph. However with weddings there are some things set in the schedule that we work around of course but if we can control it those times are the most flattering times to do your photoshoot.

11. Is it ok to have our photoshoot even if it is a cloudy day?

Yes, photos actually turn our more flattering on the skin on cloudy days. Think of it as a giant "soft box" or light diffuser if you will.

12. When is my payment due?

Your payment is due at the time of your photoshoot. In some cases I will accept a payment plan, just schedule a consultation to learn more about how payment plans work and for which sessions.

13. What types of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, checks, paypal, venmo

14. When is the best time to book?

For weddings the sooner the better, for portrait sessions I usually need about a week or two advance notice

15. What is your wedding photography deposit?

I require a $400 deposit to hold your wedding date. The rest of your payments can be made all the way up until the day of the wedding

16. What is your turn around time?

For weddings my turn around time is 60-90 days depending on the time of year you get married. For portrait sessions and boudoir my turn around time is 2-3 weeks.
